There is a terrible disorder that can strike babies as they are developing in the womb. This disorder is known as micro penis disorder and it is marked by a penis on a male baby being less than one inch when stretched.

Through the study twenty males responded who were born with micro penis disorder. Of the twenty all were married and leading normal lives. Ten responded that were raised as females. None of them were married but they did not have any problems living as females and had no leanings towards being homosexual.

Throughout all of this, the parents are still left with a hard decision. If they choose to raise the child as a female the hopes of the child ever having children of their own is out of the question because they lack the proper reproductive organs for the female body.

If the child is raised male and has the proper surgery there is still the chance that reproduction is not going to be possible because of the fact that the child has a problem with hormone production.
